Apache Hi-Fi are proud to present their second release under Reggaematic Records, showcasing the talent of MC Sherlock Art, with his debut EP.

Sherlock's debut release is a 6 track EP that explores the range of his singing style, promoting positive vibes and upliftment. The first track, 'Big Question' is a spoken word piece that shares Sherlock's experiences that are personal to him. Warming up the release, the vocals are supported by a melodic roots riddim, that is soon ready to be stepped up by the hard-hitting steppas track, 'What A Sound.' Opting for a more traditional Deejay style, 'What A Sound' was performed mainly freestyle, heavily enforcing the high energy and fast pace of the track that has so far seen great success in the dancehall. Within it, a positive message is shared as Sherlock shows his love for the Sound System scene. From there, 'Light It Up' is an anthem for the herbalists, as Sherlock brings the release to an end as he displays his thoughts towards a sacred plant known for it's meditative and medicinal uses.

Besides each vocal cut, Reggaematic's in-house producer and co-owner, Dublaw has provided an exclusive dub cut to sit with each vocal. Dublaw has worked with various record labels in the past, including Rootical Attack and Svaha Sound to name a few. He has been playing with Apache Hi-Fi for the last four years, and between them have played alongside some of the biggest names in the sound system industry, including Iration Steppas, Jah Shaka, Maasai Warrior, Young Warrior, Sinai Sound, Operation Sound System, Inspirational Sound and many more.

lyrics

Cho
Big question
big question
big question
I hope one day
We get the response
Big question big question big question
Work for a new day
Press and gallang

(Cho)

(Verse)
How can you own this space And we have to pay you to stand
Wy is your budget for nuclear weapon
still the biggest one
So much problem going on with your immigration
Deportee flight full
What's your destination
Africa, Carribean distribution
With your trade mark stamp deportation
With every flight land
You make a profit then send donation
My question is what is right from wrong

(Cho)

(Verse)
How can one women have the rights
To take a child from the dad
Then you turn around and give her all the support she needs
To keep the child away from the dad
And still no one complain paying child support with out no contact from the dad
Then your report reads
You put family first
But in reality
children are more fatherless
Than ever before
My question is what is right from wrong

(Cho)

(Bridge)
You tax wi when wi sleep
And you tax wi when wi wake
You tax wi when wi early
And you tax wi when wi late

(Cho)
Big question
Big question
Big question
I hope one day with get the response

Big Question
Big Question
Big Question
Work for a new day
Press and gallang
